See some of the tests that we perform on our products
Microbial, Yeast, and Mold Test: When you use a product repeatedly without sterilization, this increases the risk of the spread of (harmful) microorganisms. We test to ensure that our product can withstand these repeated challenges and are free of pathogenic (harmful) microorganisms and are safe for consumer use. We test the for Aerobic Colony Count USP, E.Coli USP, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa USP, Salmonella USP, Staphylococcus Aureus USP, and Yeasts & Mold USP.
Heavy Metals Test: We test our products for traces of heavy metals such as arsenic, lead, cadmium, mercury, chromium, antimony, barium, selenium. You will be surprised by how many personal care products have traces of heavy metals in them! Some are intentionally added as ingredients (i.e. irons), while others are contaminants. We believe that it’s best to avoid the accumulation of unnecessary metals to your family bodies.
We test for 481 pesticides to ensure that our products are safe for you and your family.
Both a board-certified pediatrician and dermatologist have reviewed the testing of these products, conducted under the US testing protocols.
Saving planet Earth is one of EmBeba’s core values. We want to make sure that our children have a greener future and will do our part to lead the way. With those considerations in mind, we made careful consideration in the type of packaging that can be reused, recycled, or biodegradable. Cardboard push up for “Don’t Be Rash™️Diaper Balm” – currently the packaging industry is still working on providing refillable or 100% recyclable tube style packaging (i.e. tubes you normally see for deodorant and cleansing stick). We found out that the inner plastic parts of the tube are not recyclable, which increases the probability that products will end up in a landfill. EmBeba decided to use a 100% biodegradable cardboard tube in the fun “push up” style instead. The tube can be reused as a travel activity container, a seed starter, and many more once it’s empty. The “push up” style allows for curious children to learn a new skill! It takes getting used to, but you will be saving the planet in the long run.
